This is Alice was an early American television program starring nine-year-old Patty Ann Garrity. The program aired from 1958 to 1959 on the NTA syndicated network.
This is Alice was a sitcom about young Alice Holliday (Garrity), a girl who lived in the fictional town of River Glen, Georgia. Phyllis Coates played her mother, Clarissa Mae Holliday, and Alice's father Chet was played by Tommy Farrell. 39 episodes were produced and directed by Sidney Salkow for National Telefilm Associates and Desilu Productions. The series aired at 8:00 on Thursday nights. Production of the series halted in 1958 or 1959, but previously-aired episodes continued to air as late as July 1961.[1] All 39 episodes are held by the UCLA Film and Television Archive.[2]
